Many stores offer highly promoted sales at discounted prices and often open very early, sometimes as early as midnight[2]<\/a><\/sup> or even on Thanksgiving. Black Friday has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year in the United States since 2005. The earliest evidence of the phrase Black Friday<\/i> originated in Philadelphia<\/a>\u00a0in 1961.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Cyber Monday” tab_id=”1637889017345-f62c96d1-4e4f”][vc_column_text]Cyber Monday<\/b> is a marketing term for e-commerce transactions on the Monday after Thanksgiving<\/a> in the United States<\/a>. It was created by retailers to encourage people to shop online<\/a>. The term was coined by Ellen Davis<\/a> of the National Retail Federation<\/a> and Scott Silverman, and made its debut on November 28, 2005, in a Shop.org<\/a> press release entitled “‘Cyber Monday’ Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year”.[1]<\/a><\/sup> Recently Cyber\u00a0Monday usually consists a whole week of\u00a0campaigns.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Christmas” tab_id=”1637892744122-0000075f-6d0c”][vc_column_text]Christmas<\/b> is significant because Christmas<\/a> is typically a peak selling season for retailers in many nations around the world. Sales increase dramatically as people purchase gifts<\/a>, decorations, and supplies to celebrate.
